Hazard Prevention and Control are fundamental principles behind any occupational safety and health program. Before hazards can be managed, they must first be recognized and evaluated in order to determine their risk level. This is called Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, or the Recognition, Evaluation and Control of Hazards.
