Pre-Start Meeting TemplatePurpose of Document

Pre-Start Meeting templates are used to document pre-start meetings in the workplace. The primary goal is to act as a forum for the exchange of safety related information between workers and managers / PCBUs. This form is broadly aligned with AS45001:2018.

How to Use

Complete the relevant sections of the form, including the site / location and who the relevant supervisor is. Add an overview of the work being conducted and what health and safety considerations need to be shared with staff.

NOTE: This document is a template only and it must be customised for your business. Other aspects that may need to be considered include, but are not limited to, ensuring that:

  • Relevant legal requirements have been met,
  • Workplace specific risks are identified and managed, and
  • Workers are consulted with during the customisation / review process.
