Free WHS Policy Templates

This library lists our free WHS and workplace policy templates A–Z. Each policy sets out your business's commitment and rules on a topic, in plain language that workers can follow.

A policy states what the business will do and what it expects of people; procedures then explain how. A signed WHS policy is the foundation of a safety management system and is expected by clients, principal contractors and certification bodies. Topic policies, such as bullying and harassment, fitness for work or mobile phone use, help you manage specific risks, including psychosocial hazards now covered by the model WHS Regulations.

Business owners, directors and HR or WHS managers use these templates to set up or refresh their policy suite. Review each one against your operations, have it approved by senior management, communicate it to workers and set a review date.
