An ITP is a quality control document used on construction and maintenance projects. It lists each stage of the work, the acceptance criteria, the records needed and the hold and witness points where work must stop until it has been checked. Head contractors and clients often require ITPs from subcontractors, and they form part of a quality management system aligned with ISO 9001.
